ACTIVITIES.

See below for a few activities (along with food + shopping recommendations) to help you explore The Catskills on Saturday before the ceremony : ) :) :) If you click on this link a map with everything mentioned below will pop up.

Something not mentioned below is golf! We know nothing about golf so that’s probably why we didn’t think about it but this course is 5 minutes from all the hotels.

TRAIL HIKING + RUNNING

There are tons of options. Ask Andrew, he'll probably be running one himself Saturday morning and would be thrilled if others joined. Elm Ridge Trail Loop is a moderate hike in difficulty while Escarpment and Gold Mine Trail Loop is easy. The Windham Path is super gentle and can be done while holding a cup of coffee.

ANTIQUE SHOPPING

Hudson is only 30 minuets away by car (plus it’s a beautiful drive) and if you like a shopping moment, Warren Street is a must. You could wake up and hit Mel the Bakery for a coffee and pastry and walk the length of Warren Street for the cute shops and boutiques. This is basically Veronica’s favorite thing to do upstate and Andrew obliges her — mainly because it’s how she found his best pair of vintage Levi’s. If you really want to hunt for treasure stop by The Antique Warehouse.

Day June luncheonette + Para Casa

If you want to keep it super chill and local, go to Day June Luncheonette in the morning for a breakfast burrito and then stop by Para Casa next door for some afternoon snacks to take to the gardens of The Henson or the pool at The Wylder. This chill and local day could also include a coffee walk on The Windham Path and a stop at Briars & Brambles Books and Garden Heir.

Horseback riding

While Andrew is running, Veronica will probably be horseback riding. Feel free to reach out if you want to join her. Mountain Brook Farm even offers pony rides.
